The villagers reached near Kalyani Kheda Balaji at around 11 am and demonstrated demanding the start of asphalting work on the road soon. On November 19, a news was published with the title ‘Drivers troubled due to flying dust’, after which the villagers also got angry on Sunday. The villagers told that the construction work of a new road is to be done on the said route, regarding which the concerned sensor has repaired the old road. As part of the new construction by uprooting the road, the work has been left incomplete by laying ballast on the road. And the work of asphalting is incomplete. Due to not sprinkling water on the dug road, dust keeps flying during the movement of vehicles throughout the day.
Due to the gravel spread on the road, two-wheeler drivers remain at risk of accidents. Two-wheeler drivers continue to face problems. Government employees commuting daily are facing more problems. Women employees even stopped bringing their own two-wheelers. Many two-wheeler drivers are getting injured every day. The residents of the area have several times informed the officials of the Public Works Department about their demand to complete the incomplete construction work soon, but no solution has been found to the problem. The departmental engineer is talking about getting the asphalt work done on the remaining piece soon. According to the information, the construction work of the road and culvert from Dei to Indragarh is going on by the Union Road and Transport Ministry with an amount of Rs 63.76 crore. The construction work of CC road from Karwar to near Balaji of Kalyani Kheda has been done, which is It is within the limits of Nainwa subdivision. The incomplete construction work comes under Lakheri Public Works Department. The residents of the area have demanded that the incomplete construction work of the road be asphalted soon.
