Mumbai, December 11 (IANS). Cine and TV Artistes Association (CINTAA) is going to organize a fascinating musical evening to commemorate the centenary of legendary actor Raj Kapoor.
This grand function will be commanded by CINTAA President Poonam Dhillon and Senior Vice President Padmini Kolhapuri.
On this special occasion, a spectacular musical program will be organized at the prestigious Mukesh Patel Auditorium in Mumbai on 18 December 2024.
A celebration of the showmen of Indian cinema, the event will bring together some of the most celebrated voices of the music industry on one stage.
Nitin Mukesh, Kavita Krishnamurthy, Suresh Wadkar, Shailendra Singh, Sudesh Bhosle, Bela Sulakhe and other eminent artists like R.K. Will bring to life the unforgettable tunes of the films, which will refresh the memories of Raj Kapoor’s cinematic magic.
Remembering icon Raj Kapoor, Poonam Dhillon said, “Raj Kapoor ji was not just a filmmaker, he was a storyteller of human spirit. His legacy is a guiding light for future generations.”
Padmini Kolhapuri said, “Celebrating the centenary of Raj Kapoor ji is like honoring the soul of Indian cinema. His talent inspires, and this will be our heartfelt tribute to the man who brought dreams to life on screen.”
CINTAA will dedicate the proceeds from the event to aid vulnerable and needy members, emphasizing the community values that Raj Kapoor championed throughout his life.

Apart from Poonam Dhillon and Padmini Kolhapuri, Punit Issar, Upasana Singh, Hemant Pandey, Kanwarjeet Paintal, Deepak Parashar, Mukesh Rishi, Vikas Verma, Rakesh Bedi, Anita Raj, Yashpal Sharma, Sahila Chadha, Chandraprakash Thakur, Manoj Joshi, Rashid Mehta, Preeti Like Sapru, Vindu Dara Singh, Hetal Parmar, Deepak Chadha and Sheeba Akashdeep. Famous actors are its members.
