Jodhpur : Crime is increasing rapidly in Jodhpur city which is considered peaceful. The news of the murder of a woman shocked everyone on Wednesday morning. The case is of Harijan colony of Ratanada, where the husband has killed his wife.
Police said that there was a dispute and fight between husband Ajay Barasa and wife Sheela last night in Harijan Basti of Ratanada. According to sources, the matter escalated so much that the husband murdered his wife. Initial investigation has revealed that wife Sheela was fatally stabbed on the head with a sharp or heavy weapon, due to which Sheela died due to head injury and excessive bleeding. Ratanada police reached the spot after receiving information on Wednesday morning. After the murder, the accused husband fled from the spot.
Police have called the FSL team to the spot to collect evidence. Police Station Officer Pradeep Dang and other officers have also reached the spot. Police say that CCTV footage is being scrutinized to search for the accused husband. Initial interrogation revealed that the accused husband is addicted to drinking and there are often fights between husband and wife. There is mourning in the family after the news of the murder.
