Jodhpur : Jodhpur This one paper has now changed my life. I could not study but my children will now be able to study in a government school. It seems that we have moved from rented accommodation to our own house. This is what Pak displaced families have to say. On Friday, when these families got citizenship after 25 years, there were tears in their eyes. Told- This one paper changed our life. We missed our studies because we did not have the documents here. 25 years of waiting is over, he said – now you will get peace

Kesari reached this camp with her sister Naisa and brother Vijay. Kesari told that she had come to India from Pakistan with her parents 28 years ago. We were asked for government papers on every issue. Even while living in my own country, I felt like a stranger. I was labeled as a displaced person since childhood, now there is a different feeling of relief after getting Indian citizenship.
All three of us brothers and sisters wanted to study further. Due to lack of citizenship and no documents, I left my studies in seventh grade. Now after getting citizenship, ration card, Aadhar card and marriage certificate will be made. Now my daughter’s education will not be stopped due to these documents.

online process completed

Disabled Kavita’s father Veeru had also come to the camp with the hope that his daughter would get citizenship but the online process has just been completed. He says, if the certificate had been obtained, the polio-stricken daughter would have got facilities for treatment in the government hospital. He says- Came to India in 2010. Everyone in the family has got citizenship. It is a double engine government, now it would be good if the work of other people is also done. Activist Kishan Solanki, who works for the displaced people, said – Many citizens are still waiting for citizenship. If the Central Government sends the LTV on time, then the Aadhaar card of these displaced people can be made so that they are not deprived of government facilities. 2000 children are waiting for LTV.
