Sriganganagar : Sriganganagar Pakistan has been continuously smuggling heroin into India for a long time. But now weapons are also being sent along with heroin, which is a very dangerous sign. The latest incident took place two days ago near Shekhsarpal post of Karanpur sector, where Pakistani smugglers sent weapons to the Indian border through drones.
Weapons sent in yellow packets
Sri Ganganagar SP Gaurav Yadav said that Pakistani smugglers had dropped a packet through a drone near Sheksarpal Post in Karanpur sector of the district. In which two pistols, two magazines and seven live cartridges were recovered. He further said that BSF has handed over these weapons to the police and the police has started investigation. These weapons were in a yellow packet on which yellow and white plastic tape was stuck. A small bulb was also included in this packet. When this packet was recovered, BSF suspected that it contained heroin, but on opening the packet, weapons were found inside it.
Last year also a pistol was recovered
Last year also, a pistol was recovered in the border area of Shrikaranpur police station area. Which had come from Pakistan through drone and now weapons have been recovered again which is a very dangerous issue. After this incident, BSF and police have started investigating the matter. Many gangsters dominate the neighboring state of Punjab, Sri Ganganagar and hence smuggling of such weapons is a very serious issue. Perhaps a conspiracy is being hatched to commit some major crime with these weapons.
