Pali : Pali Sarva Samaj had called for a bandh on Wednesday. The traders agreed to the request and kept their establishments closed. After protesting at Surajpol for about two hours on behalf of Sarva Samaj, a rally was taken out in the city and a memorandum was submitted to the District Collector. In which demanded arrest of the main accused of attacking Pt. Omdutt Dave and financial assistance to the victim. Sarva Samaj gave an ultimatum to go on a hunger strike from Monday if the main accused is not arrested.
People from all sections of society started gathering at Surajpol from nine in the morning. There the police administration was accused of not taking impartial action and giving protection to the culprits. From here all the community members took out a rally raising slogans. They reached Collectorate via Dhaula Chowtra, Somnath, Ghee Ka Jhanda, Baisi Bazaar, Sarafa Bazaar, Udaipuriya Bazaar, Rana Pratap Chowk, Old Bus Stand, Vivekananda Circle. Protested outside the Collectorate for more than one and a half hours. The memorandum was submitted to the District Collector by former MLA Gyan Chand Parakh, Shrimali Brahmin Samaj President PM Joshi, Mahavir Singh Sukarlai, former Municipal Council Chairman Pradeep Hingad, Muslim Samaj Sadar Hakim Bhai and other intelligentsia.
Most of the establishments did not open
On behalf of Sarva Samaj, a day before the bandh, they had gone to the market and requested every trader with folded hands to keep the establishments closed. This bandh was to last till 12 noon. Along with the traders, tea vendors also supported the bandh. They could open establishments after twelve o’clock in the afternoon, but most traders did not open establishments all day. Traders said that strict action should be taken against land mafia and social scoundrels.

Expressed anger by forming a human chain
During the bandh, community members protested by forming a human chain on Surajpole. During that time people blocked the road, but the policemen did not stop the vehicles. On this, the community members stopped the traffic by parking a vehicle in the middle. After this, a human chain was formed in the bullion market also.
doors of temples did not open
On the call of Pali Bandh, the doors of some temples of the city also remained closed. A closed banner was put up at Jhalarwa Mahalakshmi Temple and Amleshwar Mahadev Temple located on the Railway Station Road of the city. Devotees bowed to the Lord from outside the temple.Pt. Omdutt Dave had gone to his plot to perform puja. There he was beaten up by the main accused Surendra Singh and others. In which Omdutt Dave was seriously injured. He is undergoing treatment at Bangar Hospital. Sarva Samaj had demanded the arrest of Surendra Singh in this case. If he was not arrested, a strike was called for. Now Sarva Samaj has given an ultimatum of continuous fast from Monday if no arrest is made.
