Due to the neglect and neglect of Pali : Pali Education Department, the condition of 16 primary and upper primary schools of the municipality area is pathetic. Of these, there are 07 primary schools in which the Education Department has not been able to provide a permanent teacher since its inception till date. Even today, these schools are running with the support of donors and deputation teachers. In such difficult circumstances, students are forced to give half-yearly examinations relying on half-baked syllabus and self-study. In such a situation, how will parents be inclined towards increasing enrollment is a matter of concern. On one hand, there is doubt as to how to fulfill the claims of quality compulsory education and the pressure of increasing enrolment. The deputation teacher BLO appointed for educational arrangements in 07 primary and 02 upper primary level schools is also looking after the work. They also have to complete election work by taking half the time off.
For the last many years, institutional head and permanent teachers have not been deployed in 16 schools existing in different wards of Saddi Urban Cluster Municipality area under the Desuri Block Main Elementary Education Department. Dozens of schools are completing the formalities of education by implementing government works with the help of deputed teachers. Of these, 07 primary and 02 upper primary schools are running in Scheduled Caste and Tribe dominated areas. There are many vacant posts here. Here the schools are running relying on one or two teachers who have been appointed on deputation for educational purposes.
A teacher remains busy in responding to government orders
In primary and upper primary level schools, a teacher remains busy in responding to government orders and schemes. Apart from this, if there is an additional teacher, the responsibility of teaching in all the classes rests with him. There are no head teachers and teachers in the primary and upper primary schools of Saddi Municipality area. Teachers should be appointed there, meaningful efforts will be made for this.
