Pali: Loot of Rs 12 lakh revealed, two accused arrested

Pali : Pali Desuri police arrested two miscreants who stole gold and silver jewelery from Nama temple of Desuri town after chasing them for 700 kilometers. The accused have confessed to about one and a half dozen incidents in Pali district. Police said that both the accused had already served jail sentence. Cases are pending against them for murder, robbery, assault, kidnapping, atrocities on women etc. Desuri police station officer Hari Singh said that on the night of 7th November, unknown miscreants entered the Nama Mata temple by climbing the wall of the temple, broke the locks and stole the jewellery. Taking the incident seriously, the police formed a team under the leadership of Police Officer Hari Singh and searched hundreds of CCTV cameras. The accused were constantly changing their locations. Police chased about 700-800 kilometers and arrested Nakbajan criminal Mangilal alias Rahul son of Narpatram, resident of Tinwari police station, Mathaniyan district, Jodhpur Hall, Potters’ Dhani, Jodhpur and Amritlal son of Jagdish resident of Ghanchiyon Ki Gali, Rupawas police station, Shivpura district, Pali. Cases of murder, robbery, assault, kidnapping, atrocities against women etc. have been registered against the accused Mangilal.

Confessed to one and a half dozen crimes

Police said that both the miscreants have admitted to committing about one and a half dozen crimes. The accused committed theft in I Mata temple in Manda village, theft in Charbhuja Thakurji temple near Mandal on Rani Road near Dhola village, theft in a locked house in Dhola, residential house in Sichana village, locked house in Deoli Auwa village, middle of Siriyari. Theft in a closed house on the way, theft in a closed house on Nadol to Pali road, theft in Mataji temple near Siriyari before Kalighati, theft in two closed houses before Marwar Junction toll plaza.
