In which 4-6 people of a family, who had come outside the night shelter located at the bus stand in the hope of spending the night, spent the cold night in an old torn sheet on a plastic tarpaulin in the open sky. After the publication of the news, the municipal administration swung into action and deployed personnel on night patrolling. The convenient night shelter at Bhattanagar was made operational.
Municipality Executive Officer Nilakmal Singh said that under the supervision of Municipality employee Manaram Vishnoi, cleaning supervisor Rakesh Mali and Vikram Kandara have been engaged in this work. Arrangements have been made to send any needy person found wandering or resting in the bus stand or Akhariya Chowk to Bhattanagar night shelter with the help of municipal tempo. There will be provision for bed, bedding, quilt along with toilet and bathroom. Municipality Chairman Khumidevi Bawri and Vice Chairman Hiraram Jat have appealed to all the destitute and needy to utilize the facilities provided by the Municipality. Do not sleep in the open on cold nights.
