Pali : daughters are no less than sons. They are touching sky heights. Now the parents of the state have started understanding this. There is a change in the thinking about teaching household chores to daughters. The result of this is that the enrollment of girls in the schools of the state has increased. In the state, 4 lakh 80 thousand 519 girls are studying more than boys. The special thing is that the enrollment of girls in every class from first to twelfth is more than that of boys. According to educationists, the reason behind this change is the information coming on social media and the schemes being run by the government for the education of daughters. However, one difference in the education of daughters is that many parents send their sons to private schools in the desire for better education. Whereas daughters are given Govt.
This difference is not better
Regarding girls’ education, parents enroll their girls for studies from first to fifth class, but by the time they reach tenth class, that number reduces by more than half. In this session from class 1st to class 10th, the number of girls in the state decreased by 10 lakh 13 thousand 254. Whereas in classes 11th and 12th this number decreased by 11 lakh 83 thousand 891 compared to classes 1 to 5.
In the last few years, enrollment of girls in government schools has increased compared to boys. The inclination of parents towards the education of their daughters has increased. The main reason behind this is the various incentive schemes being run by the government to promote the education of daughters. However, the attitude of parents still remains discriminatory towards their daughters’ education. They send their sons to study in private schools. Provide them better facilities than girls. This approach needs improvement. Beti Bachao Beti Padhao campaign has also increased the awareness about the education of daughters in the society.
