Pali : Sewerage problem continues in Pali city. Sewerage sumps have been overflowing for the last 11 days on the road leading from Sant Khetaram Pyau to Shekhawat Nagar. Two streets there have been completely converted into swimming pools. The smell has made it difficult for people to sit in their homes. The patience of the area residents, who were suffering from dirt, smell and diseases, broke on Monday. They took to the streets under the leadership of councilor Mahendra Vaishnav. When the jam was imposed, Municipal Corporation officials reached the spot. When he saw the anger of the people, he also ordered a machine to open sewerage blocks. On this the area residents said that they have been living a hellish life for the last 11 days, but did not listen. Now that there is a traffic jam, they have brought the machine. Why wasn’t action taken earlier? The residents of the area gave a befitting reply to the officials. The officials had no answers to their questions.
