Pali : The tenure of the newly created municipal bodies in Pali district has completed. Along with converting Pali Municipal Council into Municipal Corporation, the municipal bodies of Marwar Junction, Sojat Road and Sumerpur have also been changed. Administrators have been appointed in these. Who will work until the new board is formed. After delimitation in all these bodies, the boundaries of the wards have to be re-determined. Which will be based on the population of 13 years ago. For this delimitation, proposals will be sent to the state government after demarcating each ward. Further action will be taken after approval from there.

For making proposals for ward formation/delimitation, the Sub-Divisional Magistrate has been made the nodal officer for Marwar Junction Municipality and the Executive Officer, Marwar Junction Municipality has been made the Assistant Nodal Officer. Similarly, for Sojat Road Municipality, Sojat Subdivision Magistrate is the Nodal Officer and Executive Officer Municipality, Sojat City is the Assistant Nodal Officer, for Pali Municipal Corporation, Pali Subdivision Officer is the Nodal Officer and Commissioner Municipal Council, Pali is the Assistant Nodal Officer and Subdivision Officer in Sumerpur. Has been appointed as Nodal Officer and Executive Officer Sumerpur has been appointed as Assistant Nodal Officer.
This will be the time limit
-Preparation and publication of proposals for delimitation in wards in 30 days: from 1 to 30 December
-Inviting objections on delimitation proposals in 20 days: from 31 December to 19 January 2025
-Send the ward formation proposal along with maps, comments on claims and objections received to the state government through special carrier within 20 days: from January 20 to February 8, 2025.
– Disposal of objections and approval of proposals by the state government in 20 days: from 9 February to 1 March 2025

Ward proposals will be prepared by officers and employees proficient in the boundaries and functioning of the ward. For ward delimitation proposal of municipalities, cooperation of DTP/ATP of nearby urban body can be taken.
