Pali : Pali COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease), i.e. permanent inflammation in the lungs, is not completely treated, but it can be controlled with the help of medicines. More than 16 percent of the total patients suffer from it. During COPD, when the problem of cough or phlegm persists for three months, it becomes serious and is called chronic bronchitis. Asthma sufferers also come under the category of COPD. COPD is a disease caused by long-term exposure to tobacco smoke. In rural areas, smoke arising from cooking, frying or frying food on wood, cow dung cakes, kerosene, coal or heating water can cause COPD. Dust blowing in fields can also cause risk of COPD disease. There may be a risk of COPD disease in the time between two seasons i.e. during the rheumatic period.
lungs are weak
The lungs of COPD patients become weak. Necessary tests including lung X-ray, CT scan, blood test, ECG are done on the patients. Based on the report, different bronchodilator medicines are given through inhaler and nebulizer to reduce inflammation in the lungs.
Patient has trouble breathing
COPD In every attack, 2-5 percent of the patient’s lungs are destroyed. By giving medicines, we can control the patient’s COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) but we cannot get rid of it 100%. In COPD, there is constant difficulty in breathing. The flow of air in the lungs becomes limited. Doctors also rely on the patient’s health history and clinical examination. In such a situation, many times the initial signs of the disease are not noticed. By the time symptoms appear, this disease has taken a serious form. The disease of such patients can be easily detected through a lung function test called spirometry, but its use is decreasing. The main reason for this is the low availability of spirometers and lack of innovation in this field.
