Pali News Desk: The effect of cold north wind and snowfall in the Himalayan valleys is visible in the district. The mercury in Pali has been at 12 degrees or below for four days. The residents of the district are taking the help of warm clothes in the morning and night. Light fog prevailed in the district for the second consecutive day on Friday. Due to cold, people have now started coming out of their homes by 6 o’clock instead of waking up at 4:30-5 in the morning. With the decline in the number of morning walkers, the time for visiting gardens and other places has also shifted to after sunrise. According to the Meteorological Center, Jaipur, there will be no significant difference in the minimum temperature of Pali division along with most parts of the state in the coming 2-3 days. However, light fog may occur in the morning in the northern parts of the state like Ganganagar, Churu, Hanumangarh, Sikar, Jhunjhunu etc. Winter has started showing its colors in the city and surrounding areas. The severity of cold increases after early morning and evening. Due to the cold wind blowing throughout the day, people have now taken out warm clothes. The bonfire has started heating.

Marriage season is going on. Due to winter, extra arrangements have to be made for guests at wedding venues. On the other hand, mothers have got relief due to change in timings of many schools. They do not have to wake up their children early in the morning and prepare them.

Sale of hot food items including hot peanuts, Agra petha, Revdi, Gajak has started on the carts decorated at intersections with shops in the markets.
