Pali: Winter sets in with drop in temperature, happiness among farmers

Pali : Pali Winter has started showing its colors. This year there was no sign of winter till October. Due to higher than normal temperature, people could not feel the cold, but now as half of the month of November has passed, the cold has slowly started gaining momentum in the early morning. The Meteorological Department says that the temperature may drop further and the effect of cold is likely to increase in the coming days. The atmosphere which used to be summer like till October is now changing into winter. Due to sudden change in weather, people have started taking measures to protect themselves from cold. The number of people going for morning walks and wearing light jackets and warm clothes while going to work early in the morning is increasing.

Doctors advise, be careful

In view of the changes in weather, doctors have advised people to take special precautions. To avoid common diseases caused by winter such as cold, cough, and fever, there is a need to wear warm clothes and be cautious in eating habits. Experts say that the late winter may now last for a long time.

Kirwa In the rural areas, the cold has intensified at night for the last two-three days. Villagers were seen wearing woolen clothes and sheets and warming themselves by burning wood. People’s daily routine was affected. At the hotels located at Kirwa bus stand, drivers and villagers were seen drinking tea and taking measures to protect themselves from the cold by warming bonfires.
