Highlights of the budget

Electricity

The Finance Minister has announced more than 2 lakh new electricity connections and tap connections in 25 lakh rural households.
Roadways

500 buses will be purchased for roadways. The government will also purchase 300 electric buses. At the same time, 800 buses will be hired. There are bus stands with modern facilities in 10 districts including Ajmer, Kota, Bharatpur and Udaipur.

Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee District Upliftment Scheme will be started by making a provision of Rs 500 crore to meet the primary needs of every district and to solve the problems.
Libraries and Wi-Fi connections will be provided in urban areas of the state at a cost of Rs 150 crore.

For the first time in the state, 9 green field expressways with a length of more than 2750 km will be constructed.

solar energy

Two new solar parks have been announced in the state in the budget.
One park will be built in Jaisalmer and one in Pugal.
All the government offices in the state will be connected to solar energy in a phased manner.
Domestic electricity connections will be provided to 208000 electricity-deprived households in the next 2 years.
Model solar villages will be built under the PM Surya Ghar Yojana.
Smart meters will be installed to prevent electricity leakage. More than 25 lakh smart meters will be installed this year.
Water

This year, tap water will be supplied to 25 lakh rural households by spending Rs 15 thousand crores.
6 projects worth more than 20 thousand crores will be started to provide drinking water to 5846 additional villages. Under the Amrit 2.0 scheme for drinking water schemes in rural as well as urban areas, work worth 5 thousand 180 crores will be done in 183 cities of the state.
32 water bodies will be renovated.
Industry

Export promotion policy will be brought. Textile policy and Rajasthan warehousing policy were also announced in the budget. Rajasthan Investment Conclave will be organized this year.
Petrozone will be established in Balotara.
By-products coming out of Pachpadara refinery will be manufactured. Along with this, a defense manufacturing hub will be established in the state.
Amrit Global Technology Center will be established in Jaipur at a cost of Rs 200 crore to invite investment from global companies.
Art and cultural tourism

In Rajasthan, 20 lakh families get employment from tourism sector.
A new tourism policy will be introduced. A tourism development board will be formed.
During this tenure, tourism development work worth more than Rs 5 thousand crores will be done.
Through this fund, works of heritage, religious, eco tourism development will be done.

Stamp duty on non-agricultural land under joint ownership reduced from 6 per cent to 2 per cent.

VAT on CNG fuel has been reduced in Rajasthan.
