Panchkalyanak festival started in Sawai madhopur after 300 years

Sawai Madhopur : Shri Shantinath Jinabim Panchkalyan Pratishtha Mahotsav started on Friday at the newly constructed Shantinath Jinalaya in Chauth Ka Barwada town of Sawai Madhopur district.
On this occasion, a grand procession of the Lord was taken out from the Digambar Jain temple. In which different types of chariots participated in the procession along with elephants and horses. The procession passed through the main roads of the town and reached the venue of the program, Chauth Mata Trust Dharamshala. Where the program was started by hoisting the flag. A large number of local as well as devotees from far off places participated in the sermon meeting.

Festive atmosphere in the entire village
Chauth’s Panchkalyan festival is taking place in Barwada after about 300 years. Due to which there is a festive atmosphere in the entire village. The 5-day Kalyan Mahotsav started with a procession on Friday. A large number of devotees took part in the procession that started from the Digambar Jain temple. During this, the idol of Shri Ji was placed on the chariot. Also, Indra and Indranis took the blessings of God while sitting on the elephant. The procession passed through the main roads of the town and reached Chauth Mata Mandir Trust Dharamshala. Here the idol of Shriji was installed in the pandal as per the rituals.
