Jaipur : Pradhan Mantri Janaushadhi Kendras are being started so that passengers can get medicines at affordable rates at the railway stations of Rajasthan. After Bhagat Ki Kothi (Jodhpur), now this facility will also be started at the railway stations of Durgapura (Jaipur), Falna and Barmer.
Inauguration will be done through VC
On Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will start it by inaugurating it through VC from Darbhanga, Bihar. According to railway officials, the Prime Minister will inaugurate Jan Aushadhi Centers at 18 railway stations across the country. This includes three stations of Rajasthan, Durgapura (Jaipur), Falna and Barmer stations. Apart from these, stations of Gujarat, Tripura, Telangana, West Bengal, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Tamil Nadu are also included. Inaugural programs will also be held at these stations. Apart from local public representatives, railway officers, employees and general public will be included in this.
On the other hand, the medical package rates will be increased under the Mukhyamantri Ayushman Arogya (Maa) Yojana run in the state. Rajasthan State Health Assurance Agency (RASHA) has started preparing proposals in this direction. Currently more than 1800 treatment packages and same number of hospitals are listed under this scheme and 1.33 crore families are benefiting from it.
