Kota : Kota Police of Rajasthan is wandering door to door in search of a fake Baba Mangilal Meghwal these days. This Baba is accused of cheating people by making false claims and black magic. Baba is absconding with crores of rupees and so far more than 10 people have reached the SP office and lodged a complaint against him. There is a discussion that top officials of the police department are also trapped in Baba’s trap, but none of them has come forward yet. Kota Rural’s Etawah police station has arrested and interrogated 4 associates of Baba, but there has been no trace of Baba for 5 days. It is alleged that he used to call himself a miraculous Baba and used to tell people that he has a magical mantra with which he will turn the clay brick into a gold brick. This miracle will happen in 9 days. By making such claims, he trapped people in his trap and absconded with the money.
The first complaint was lodged on September 2
According to media reports, Etawah (Kota) resident Sikandar Nayak fell prey to Baba’s fraud. He had registered a case of fraud of Rs 10 lakh on 2 September. Taking action in the case, the police arrested Baba’s associates Tulsiram Suman, Narendra Singh, Suresh Meena, Rajendra Erwal on 8 September. During police interrogation, they told about Baba Mangilal, the leader of their gang. Also told that this Baba is the same, whose miraculous court was very famous in the DCM area of Koa in the year 2023. During interrogation, it was revealed that Baba Mangilal used to set up a court and distribute clay bricks by chanting mantras in it. He used to claim that after 9 days this brick will become a gold brick. In this greed, people used to come to his court and take the brick by paying 500 rupees. Not only this, people used to give offerings of thousands and lakhs of rupees. He also used to lure people to double the money by dipping it in rice. When Baba’s secrets started getting exposed, he absconded in the year 2023 and now after a year, he has become active again.
Famous businessman of Kota also got caught in the trap
According to Etawah (Kota) DSP Shivam Joshi, the accused Baba Mangilal Meghwal alias Baba is a resident of Kaithun village in Rajasthan. His associates told the police that Baba used to impress people by showing a video of the process of converting clay bricks into gold bricks. To fulfill his intentions, he had rented a room and built a temple in it. Businessman Naval Kishore Nagar, resident of Indira Colony of DCM, has also fallen victim to his fraud. Baba had rented Naval Kishore’s room. He met Baba in January 2023, about which he came to know from people. He got trapped in Baba’s trap while getting his ailing wife treated. Etawah farmer Govind Kushwaha was also trapped in Baba’s trap. Kota Rural SP Karan Sharma says that the people trapped in Baba’s trap had also complained against him to Rural SP Kavendra Sagar in April 2023. Kaithun police station is also engaged in investigation.
