People happy with PM Kisan Yojana, said- convenience in crop sowing

Yavatmal, November 20 (IANS). PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, started in the year 2019, is providing great convenience to the farmers in sowing their crops, purchasing fertilizers, seeds etc. Farmers in Yavatmal district of Maharashtra told about the annual relief of Rs 6,000 they get under this scheme.

Bhimrao Sakaram Jadhav, a resident of Nagapur, says, “We do farming under the government scheme under which farmers get Rs 6000 annually. Regarding the Prime Minister’s schemes, I can say that they are very good. There are many schemes of the Prime Minister, which are greatly benefiting the farmers and the poor. The poor are getting a lot of relief from these schemes. My opinion about Prime Minister Modi is that he has done a very good job. During his 10-year tenure, many important schemes and decisions have been taken, which have directly benefited the people. We can clearly see the benefits of the ‘double engine’ of both the central and state governments working together. This has made our situation even better, especially for the poor. The Prime Minister’s schemes have brought many important changes for poor people like us and we hope this trend will continue.”

Godaji Jadhav, also from Nagapur village, says, “I am a beneficiary of PM Kisan Yojana and PM Awas Yojana. Under PM Kisan Yojana, Rs 2,000 comes into our account every 3 to 4 months. According to this, we get Rs 6,000 annually from the Government of India. BJP remained in power at the center and the state. The state developed a lot during these years. People in villages got many benefits including drains, roads, water, ration, housing. Congress did nothing in 60 years but PM Modi has done a lot of development in 10 years. PM Modi is a very good Prime Minister. He has brought glory to the country all over the world. The whole world looks at India differently today. He has created a distinct identity for the country all over the world. PM Modi has done a lot of work. The central government gives money to the state government. The state government develops the people. Therefore, there is a lot of advantage in having the same party government at the Center and the state.”

Ramsingh Moti Ram Jadhav, a resident of the same village, says, “The government gives us Rs 6,000 annually. With that we spend our farming expenses. Some of this money given by the government is used in household and some is also used in happiness and sorrow. I thank the Government of India very much for this. Sometimes, if there is loss in agriculture due to less or more rainfall, then this money is very useful.”
