Dausa : In view of the cold wave in the coming days, the Chief Medical and Health Officer has issued instructions to all BCMOs to provide immediate and proper medical treatment to the patients affected by the cold wave. In this regard, instructions have also been issued to form special medical teams and mobile teams.

Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. Sitaram Meena said that the chances of common people falling prey to cold increases during the winter season. In such a situation, instructions have been issued to all BCMOs to provide immediate medical treatment to such patients and maintain proper management of medicines. Also, verifying the deaths due to cold wave, provide weekly reports to the district headquarters.

CMHO has directed that special medical teams should be formed at every BCMO level and these medical teams should visit night shelters every day and check the health of the people staying there and provide necessary medicines and treatment. He has also instructed the medical officers to visit the night shelters at least once a week, make necessary medical arrangements and send the report to the headquarters.
