Tonk : Residents of Ward No. 5 of Niwai today submitted a memorandum regarding their problems to Executive Officer Manohar Lal Jat.
Naveen Kumar Jain and Rakesh Jagatpura, residents of ward number 5, said that some people of the ward are continuously defecating and throwing garbage in the open on the way leading to the water tank built by the water supply department at the foot of the mountain. Even after counseling, they become abusive and start fighting. Whereas everyone has toilets in their homes. Whereas a release in this regard was earlier issued by the Municipality Office. Whereas ward residents have complained about this to the municipal office several times, either orally or in writing.
Despite this, people still defecate there. Due to which there is a fear of the water supply tank getting contaminated. The residents living there have found it difficult to live with the bad smell. Regarding the problem, the said people should be banned and appropriate action should be taken.
