PG registration of these resident doctors may be canceled
Expressing displeasure towards the resident doctors, the faculty of the Department of Surgery and Emergency Medicine has written a letter to the Principal of SMS Medical College, Dr. Deepak Maheshwari, demanding action against them. It has been mentioned in the letter that resident doctors remain absent from the workplace without any prior notice and concrete reason and boycott work, due to which serious patients are facing problems. It has also been said in the letter that action should be taken to cancel the PG registration of any PG doctor who is absent or on strike in the Emergency Medicine Department. In this matter, JARD officials have said that until their demands are not met. Till then the movement will continue. He said that the government has not yet taken any decision in this matter, due to which the patients are facing problems.
50 additional doctors will be appointed
To address the problems faced by patients due to the strike, 50 additional doctors have been appointed to SMS Hospital, and 50 more doctors will be appointed soon. Doctors are also being appointed as per the demand in JK Lone, Women’s Hospital and Zanana Hospital. However, in the OPD of SMS Hospital, senior doctors were seen struggling to take care of the patients, while there were queues at various places and the patients looked worried. Were.
