Jaipur News Desk: As soon as the effect of the low pressure area active in the north-east and eastern areas of the state ends, the sky is going to remain clear in most of the districts. There is a possibility of increase in the intensity of winter due to rapid drop in temperature during day and night. Last night also in some districts the night temperature was recorded below 20 degrees Celsius. The Meteorological Department has predicted dry weather across the state for the next two-three days.

In the last 24 hours, Sriganganagar recorded the highest maximum temperature of 39.2 degrees Celsius, whereas in Mount Abu, the only hill tourist destination of the state, the day temperature dropped by 2.6 degrees to 25 degrees Celsius. Last night, the night temperature in Mount Abu dropped by 3 degrees and the mercury was recorded at 15 degrees Celsius. Whereas in Sikar district the night temperature was recorded at 15.5 degrees which was the lowest in the plains.
Night temperatures have now started falling rapidly in Shekhawati and Hadoti regions of the state. In Sikar and Fatehpur of Shekhawati, the mercury is registering less than 20 degrees Celsius at night. However, the heat is still showing severe intensity in the western plains of the state. It is believed that in the coming days, there is a possibility of drop in mercury during day and night in the western plains also. Due to which people will be able to feel the pink cold at night.
According to the Meteorological Department, there is no possibility of any major change in the weather pattern in the state in the coming days. There is a possibility of a partial drop in day and night temperatures in the coming days, while the weather is going to remain dry in most of the districts. If the sky remains clear and easterly winds blow at high speed, the intensity of pink winter is expected to increase if the night temperature drops more rapidly.
