Jaipur : Due to the changed weather patterns in the state, clouds have again camped in many districts. The showers that fell in the eastern areas of the state yesterday put a partial break on the rising mercury at night, whereas today the clouds covering many districts including Jaipur have increased the possibility of rain. However, the Meteorological Department has today issued a rain alert in four districts including Jaipur.

According to the Meteorological Department, due to the effect of low pressure area formed in the north and north-eastern areas of the state, the movement of clouds is continuously increasing. Due to the increase in day temperature last week, while the heat remained intense during the day, partial fluctuations were recorded in the night temperature. In the last 24 hours, light to moderate rain was recorded in Karauli, Dholpur, Dausa districts, while gram-sized hailstones were also reported in some areas of Dausa district.

In the last 24 hours, the day temperature has increased by two to three degrees in many districts including the capital Jaipur. Although there was a partial drop in the night temperature and the minimum temperature dropped by one or two degrees, the heat remained a bit mild, but the humidity remained intense at night when the relative humidity in the air remained up to 85 percent. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert of light rain in Jaipur, Bharatpur, Kota, Udaipur and Jodhpur divisions today.
