Jaisalmer : 7 players of Jaisalmer Basketball Academy have been selected in the Rajasthan team. Jaisalmer MLA Chhotu Singh Bhati, Collector Pratap Singh and BJP leader Himmataram Choudhary congratulated the players of Jaisalmer Academy in the basketball team of 17 years and 14 years. Out of all the 7 players, Ajayraj Singh will captain the 14-year-old Rajasthan basketball team. Everyone has congratulated basketball coach and District Sports Officer Rakesh Vishnoi on this success of Jaisalmer Basketball Academy. All the players will participate in the 68th National School Basketball Competition in the 14 years old boys and 17 years old boys category. It will be organized in Rajnand village, Chhattisgarh. District Sports Officer Rakesh Bishnoi said – Seven players of Jaisalmer Basketball Academy, run by the Youth Affairs and Sports Department of Rajasthan Government and Rajasthan State Sports Council, Jaipur, have been selected in the Rajasthan team.
14 year old team won gold
Rakesh Vishnoi told – Recently, the team of Jaisalmer Academy had won the gold medal in the 14th state level school basketball competition organized by the Education Department in Barmer. In which, on the basis of excellent sports performance, four players from the academy have been selected in the Rajasthan team, in which Ajay Raj Singh will be the captain of the Rajasthan team, Mukesh Kumar, Shubhanshu and Dilip Kumar will represent the 14-year-old Rajasthan team.
17 year old team had won silver
District Sports Officer Rakesh Vishnoi said – 17-year state level school basketball competition was organized in Pali in which the team of Jaisalmer Academy had won the silver medal. Academy players Mohammad Razza, Sanskaar Saini and Shailesh Kumar Meena, who performed best in this competition, have been selected in the 17-year-old team of Rajasthan. Before participating in the national competition, the training camp of the Rajasthan team was held at District Sports Training Center Indira Indoor Stadium. It was held in Jaisalmer from 11 to 15 November 2024. All the players including MLA Chhotu Singh Bhati, Collector Pratap Singh and BJP leader Himmataram Chaudhary have been congratulated.
