Alwar : Under the inter-college games being organized by Alwar Rajarshi Bhartrihari Matsya University, a two-day (men’s and women’s) athletics competition concluded at Rajarshi Mahavidyalaya grounds on Wednesday. In the competition, 24 men’s and women’s teams from various colleges of Alwar district participated. 16 women’s teams participated. Athletics competition men and women 20 km. A total of 227 players participated in the competitions like walking, 10 km, 100 m, 200 m, 400 m, 800 m, 1500 m, 5000 m race, javelin throw, shot put, discus throw, high and long jump, 400 m relay race etc. Took part and showed his mettle.
In this, Zia has received the award for best female player and Nasir Hussain has received the award for best male player. In the competition, the trophy in the women’s category has been won by SHMG PG College, Narayanpur and the runner-up trophy has been won by Bansur PG College, Bansur and in the men’s category, the trophy has been won by Sariska PG College, Rajgarh and the runner-up trophy has been won by Dev International College, Alwar. In the closing ceremony, the winning teams were honored by the guests and the players were shown the way to move forward. The stage was conducted by Dr. Ritu Mathur and Dr. Sanjay Dargan.
