Bundi : Block level sports competitions organized by Nehru Yuva Mandal Sansthan Gothda under the auspices of Nehru Yuva Kendra Bundi at Bijasan Mataji Sports Ground concluded. District Youth Officer Kashish Jethwani was the chief guest of the award distribution ceremony. It was presided over by Gajendra Singh Solanki, Principal of Raumavi Gothda. Special guests BJP leader Babulal Saini, educationist Ram Prasad Sharma, Ram Laxman Dhabhai were present on the stage. Saawariya Club won in Kabaddi and Kho-Kho: Competition coordinator Bhupendra Yogi said that in the two-day sports competition, 215 players and 15 teams of Hindoli block showed their strength by participating in various sports. In team games, Team Saawariya Club was the winner in Kabaddi, Team Gyandeep School was the runner-up, Team Saawariya Club was the winner in Kho-Kho, Team Swami Vivekananda College was the runner-up. In individual sports, in 100 m race, Ashish Jangid stood first in the boys’ category, Dharamraj Saini stood second, in the girls’ category Nisha Gurjar stood first, Pooja Saini stood second, Priyanka Meena stood third. In badminton game, Hiralal Sain of Swami Vivekananda College was the winner, Lokesh Saini was the runner-up. Similarly, in the long jump boys category, Ashish Jangid stood first, Kuldeep Meena stood second, in the girls category Payal Kahar stood first, Priyanka Saini stood second, Suganti Kahar stood third. The winning team and participants at the block level will represent the block by participating at the district level.
