PM Modi’s dedication towards Sikh community is extraordinary, many big personalities praised it

New Delhi, November 15 (IANS). Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated the countrymen on Guru Nanak Jayanti. On the occasion of Guru Parv, Prime Minister Modi has expressed his reverence and respect for the Sikh community through several important steps.

Prime Minister Modi’s dedication towards the Sikh community is reflected in many of his decisions. PM Modi’s sensitivity towards the rights of the Sikh community, their culture, their respect is extraordinary.

BJP National Secretary Manjinder Singh Sirsa said that I got a call from Sikhs from Afghanistan, they were expecting that it would take at least 45 days for them to reach India. But, he reached the next day itself. Got a call from Prime Minister Modi. When I told him everything, he said that of course we will bring those people and bring them back in our ship. He was brought back to Delhi by an Air Force plane. Along with this, work was also done to bring back the forms of Guru Granth Sahib Maharaj Ji.

He said that earlier when the earthquake had destroyed Gurudwara Lakhpat Sahib in Kutch, Gujarat, he resolved to rebuild it in the same ancient style. He called artisans from Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh so that this holy place could be returned to its former glory. PM Modi worked to build the Gurudwara in the old style. UNESCO gave it the award for Best Restored Worship Palace.

In the difficult times of Afghanistan, Prime Minister Modi won the hearts of the Sikh community with his bold step. Amidst the rift in relations between India and Pakistan, it seemed impossible to open the way for the darshan of Kartarpur Sahib. But, PM Modi made it possible. PM Modi made it possible for people of the Sikh community to visit Kartarpur Sahib without a visa and have darshan of their deity.

PM Modi’s respect for the Sikh community does not stop here. He declared 26 December as ‘Veer Bal Diwas’ to commemorate the sacrifice of the princes of Guru Gobind Singh.

Principal of Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi, Prof. Simrit Kaur said that if we talk about Prime Minister Modi’s association with the Sikh community, then there is a very beautiful relationship between the two. PM Modi announced ‘Veer Bal Diwas’. It is celebrated on 26th December. The country salutes the sacrifice of Sahibzade Zorawar Singh ji and Fateh Singh.

PM Modi constructed roads to make it easier for devotees to reach holy places like Hemkund Sahib. Not only this, special efforts were also made to bring the holy copies of Sri Guru Granth Sahib from Afghanistan to India.

National Minorities Commission Chairman Iqbal Singh Lalpura said that PM Modi celebrated the 350th birth anniversary of Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj in Patna. Then celebrated the 550th birth anniversary of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. He has taken many big steps for the upliftment of Sikh society.
