Police action in Dholpur cold night made gravel mafia sweat

Dholpur News Desk: Police took massive action against illegal gravel mining and transportation and created panic among the gravel mafia. This will probably be the first action on such a large scale against the gravel mafia in the district, in which about three dozen tractor-trolleys were seized. Let us tell you that at around 9 o’clock in the night, the police force of the police stations of City Circle was collected and action was taken towards Dev’s Pura Chambal Ghat Moroli on the banks of Chambal. When the police reached here, gravel was being loaded into tractor-trolleys with loaders etc. on the banks of Chambal. Seeing the police team, there was panic among the mafia. On which the mafia people left the vehicles and ran towards the ravine.

The action continued till the morning and the police seized 34 tractor trolleys and arrested Manoj, son of gravel mafia, Shrikrishna Nishad, resident of Bhuda police station, Dihauli, and Ramhet, son of Ramatyar Gurjar, resident of Nathua, Pura Mauroli. During the action, the local police was also informed about illegal mining taking place in MP.

Police teams from these police stations were involved

Dholpur Kotwali, Police Station Sadar, Nihalganj, Maniyan, Sampau, Dihauli, Basideang, Bari Sadar, Bari Kotwali, Police Line Jabta, DST team and Forest Department team were involved in the action taken against the gravel mafia. Let us tell you that initially during the action, the city police and DST team were involved, but when a large number of illegal gravel mining was found on the spot, police were called from other police stations. The action continued till around 10 in the morning.
