Police action on illegal arms supply in Bhilwara, case registered

Bhilwara News Desk: Continuous action is being taken by running a special campaign under the direction of SP Dharmendra Singh to effectively control illegal arms smuggling and criminal activities in Bhilwara district. Under this, Badliyas police station arrested a person and recovered a pistol and two cartridges from him. Along with this, the police has also seized his car.

Badliyas police station in-charge Siddharth Prajapat said that during patrolling, head constable Ashok Kumar and Jabte had received information from the informer that a person in a car was going for the supply of illegal pistol and cartridges.

On this, when the car was stopped near Sopura of border Jats and interrogated, illegal pistol and 2 cartridges were recovered from the possession of the car driver Hariram father Ramkishan Gurjar (25), resident of Narsingpura police station Kotri district Shahpura. The police seized the car of the accused and registered a case under the Arms Act and started investigation.
