Alwar : Police have arrested the criminals Pramod alias Kala, Hitesh and Ravindra alias Mota, who opened fire on 24 November 2024 at Mataur toll post in Alwar Khairthal for not paying extortion money. This arrest was made from Bawal area of Haryana. Police said that the accused had demanded extortion money from the toll employees, when it was not fulfilled, they opened fire. During this, the employees chased them, but the accused continued firing with the intention of killing them.
The police have seized the numberless white Baleno car used in the incident and a revolver along with two live cartridges from the possession of the accused. A procession of the criminals caught by the Khairthal police was also taken out in Khairthal. During this, heavy police presence including Additional SP Ratanlal Bhargava, DSP Rajendra Singh and Khairthal police station officer Dinesh Kumar Meena was present.

Pramod alias Kala has been a member of the infamous Prince Tewatiya gang. Cases of serious crimes like murder, attempt to murder, robbery and Arms Act are registered against him in Delhi, Haryana and Rajasthan. Ravindra alias Mota was also wanted in several Arms Act cases in Bahadurgarh.
Great police operation
Khairthal police formed several teams under the direction of SP Manish Kumar and ASP Ratanlal Bhargava. Taking prompt action under the leadership of Khairthal police station officer Dinesh Kumar Meena, raids were conducted at various places to arrest the accused. Lis has recovered Baleno car, revolver and two live cartridges from the accused.
