Here the Panchayat call was made by the Bharatiya Kisan Parishad. The farmers said that our comrades should be released, or we should also be put in jail. Regarding this, the police stopped the farmers who were trying to reach zero point near Pari Chowk in Beta-2 area.
The police forcibly made the farmers sit in buses and took them to the police line. In view of this, police force has been deployed at Mahamaya and Rashtriya Dalit Prerna Sthal.
After the Mahapanchayat on Wednesday, the police had released 123 farmers who were in jail. But, after the social media post of CM Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday night, the police once again arrested the farmers and sent them to jail. Since that time, the police have taken more than 100 farmers into custody from different places.
