Police detained Khan sir who supported the protesting BPSC candidates.

Patna, 6 December (IANS). Protests by students continue regarding normalization in the 70th Combined Primary Examination of Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC). The protesting candidates have received the support of teacher Khan sir.

Khan sir, who was protesting on the road with students outside the BPSC office, has been taken into custody by the police. The police has taken Khan sir to Gardnibagh police station. Along with him, the police has also detained student leader Dilip. The anger of the protesting students has increased after Khan sir was detained. In such a situation, the students’ agitation is expected to intensify further.

The protesting candidates demand that normalization should not be implemented. Students have demanded ‘one shift, one paper’. The protesting candidates are demanding that the 70th Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) Civil Services Preliminary Examination be conducted on the same lines as previous years. They are also demanding to normalize the examination process. They are demanding that the Commission adopt the same examination process which has been followed for fairness and uniformity.

Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) candidates protested outside the BPSC office in Patna. The candidates also blocked Bailey Road in the city. After this the police resorted to lathicharge to disperse the protesting candidates and restore order.
