In a city like the capital Jaipur, the case of chain snatching was a headache for the police. It is said that a history-sheeter criminal was running a chain snatching gang here. At the same time, the police have now caught the clever chain snatchers. However, the police had to work hard to catch these criminals. It is said that the police took 60 hours of continuous action to catch these vicious people. In Jaipur, two snatchers have been arrested by the Pratap Nagar police station of the district. These snatchers include Vijay Pratap Singh alias Bansi and his partner Surendra Singh alias Kalla. It is said that both these accused are history-sheeters.
The accused snatcher is a history-sheeter from Dholpur
Police informed that Vijay Pratap Singh and Surendra Singh are both history-sheeters of Rajakheda in Dholpur. Revealing the case, Jaipur Police Commissioner Biju George Joseph said that in view of the seriousness of the chain snatching incidents happening in the city, special instructions were provided to stop these miscreants. To uncover these incidents, a special team was formed under the leadership of DCP East Tejaswini Gautam on the instructions of Additional Commissioner Kunwar Rashtradeep.
60 hours of action after 1500 km chase
This team was supervised by Additional DCP Asaram Chaudhary and ACP Vinod Kumar Sharma. He said that Pratap Nagar SHO Munendra Singh carried out a major operation and arrested two mobile signatures after chasing them for 1500 kilometers for 60 hours continuously and scanning 200 CCTV footage. Joseph said that 12 chains of 150 grams of gold have been recovered from the accused and the 400 cc Pulsar bike used in the crime has also been seized. The Commissioner said that the accused had tried to escape and during this they also got injured.
