Jaipur News Desk: No information has yet emerged in the investigation regarding the interview given by Lawrence Bishnoi during his imprisonment in the Central Jail of the capital. The city police has become active after Lawrence’s name came into discussion in the case of Baba Siddiqui’s murder in Mumbai.
The SIT will now investigate the case registered last month regarding the interview. The Police Commissioner has taken a decision in this regard. Lawrence G was in the custody and jail of Jaipur Police in connection with the firing at the club. Gangster Lawrence’s interview was broadcast on a news channel in March 2023 after he was sent from Jaipur jail to Punjab. After investigation, Punjab Police had claimed that Lawrence had given this interview through an app while he was lodged in Jaipur Central Jail. After this fact came to light, a case was registered in Jaipur. Now SIT will investigate the matter.
It is noteworthy that the incident of firing at the house of Kinnow trader Shyokat Ali in ‘Chak Teen e Choti’ of Sriganganagar district was done by Rohit Godara gang, an associate of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, by giving betel nut. A shooter of this gang was sent to the Kinnow trader’s house along with a youth riding a bike. This bike rider was identified as Aamir Khan, son of Munna Khan, resident of Mirjewala village. This 24 year old youth was contacted by Rohit Godara’s gang and asked to give him fifty thousand rupees. He agreed to bring the shooter at that time and drop him back.
