Sriganganagar : Anupgarh Police, while patrolling, on the information of an informer, has arrested two accused while taking action against the intoxicating pills banned by the Collector. The police has taken this action at the old Rawla bus stand of Anupgarh. The police have recovered 1800 banned Pregabalin tablets from both the accused on the spot and have also seized the motorcycle used for transportation. Police have arrested both the accused and started intensive interrogation. ASI Rajendra Kumar said that Kamal Arora resident of ward number 19 and Naresh Kumar Arora resident of ward number 34 have been arrested in this case.
SHO Anil Kumar told that ASI Rajendra Kumar, Head Constable Mahavir, Constable Manish Kumar of Anupgarh police station were patrolling. During patrolling, he got information from the informer that two persons were trying to buy and sell intoxicating pills at the old Rawla bus stand of Anupgarh. He told that after receiving the information from the informer, the police team immediately reached the spot and as per the information of the informer, two persons were seen coming on a motorcycle.
When he was stopped, he got scared after seeing the police team. When the police searched him on suspicion, they found 1800 illegal Pregabalin tablets in a plastic bag kept on the motorcycle. He told that the accused Naresh Kumar (49), son of Atmaram Arora, ward number 34 and Kamal Arora (26), son of Lekhraj Arora, resident of ward number 19 Anupgarh, have been arrested on the spot and intoxicating pills and bike have also been seized. .
