Jodhpur News Desk: After the murder of beautician Anita Chaudhary, Jodhpur Police wants to conduct a polygraph test of the accused husband and wife who buried the body in six pieces. An application in this regard has been filed in the CJM court on Friday afternoon. However, the hearing could not be held due to the Chief Judicial Magistrate being on leave. That is why the case has been listed for Monday.

Ghulamuddin sent back on 7 days remand

Ghulamuddin, the main accused in the Anita murder case, was arrested by Jodhpur Police from Mumbai about a week ago. His wife Abida was arrested from Jodhpur. Since then he is in judicial custody. Today, after completion of 7 days of judicial custody, Ghulamuddin has been produced back in the court online. Here the police again asked for remand for 7 days, which was accepted by the court.

Police theory questioned due to application for polygraphy test

The application for polygraphy test has strengthened the allegations being made by the family of the deceased. It is understood that Ghulamuddin is lying during interrogation and trying to mislead the police. Due to this, questions are also being raised on the police theory. However, whether permission for polygraphy test is granted by the court or not remains to be seen. The family members had alleged that people were involved in this murder. Despite Tayyab Ansari’s name being in the FIR, the police has not interrogated him properly because of his influence.

What statement did Jodhpur Police give in this case?

Jodhpur DCP Raj Rishi had told that on October 27, Anita herself had gone to meet Ghulamuddin. Both already knew each other. Recently the accused had bought a house and apart from this he had also lost a huge amount in online gaming. Because of this he needed money. Anita was given anesthetic mixed with something. But, it has not been confirmed yet whether he died due to overdose or he was killed after unconsciousness.
