Polio medicine will be administered to 1 lakh 98 thousand 397 children of Jhalawar district.

Jhalawar : Jhalawar Sub-National Pulse Polio Program will be organized in the district on 8th December. For this, a review meeting of Sub-National Pulse Polio District Task Force and Anemia Free Rajasthan Program was organized in the Mini Secretariat Conference Hall under the chairmanship of Collector Ajay Singh Rathore. Representatives of the Medical Department, Education Department, Women and Child Development Department and allied departments participated in the meeting. Necessary information was given in the meeting to provide active support for the successful implementation of the campaign by other departments in the sub-national pulse polio program to be held in the district. District RCH Officer Dr. Mukesh Kumar Nagar explained the outline of the Pulse Polio programme. He said that the target is to administer polio vaccine to approximately 198397 children of the district. For this, 1067 booths, 3100 vaccination teams, 164 sector supervisors and about 13000 polio vials will be used in the district. In the meeting, Deputy Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. Arvind Kumar Nagar reviewed the activities organized under the Anemia Free Rajasthan Programme.
