Political uproar over Rahul Gandhi’s statement, FIR registered in Tonk

Tonk : The statements made by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi during his US visit have created controversy across the country. In response to the controversial statements of BJP leaders, the Congress has become aggressive, while the BJP has also come into attacking mode, abandoning its defensive strategy. Both parties are attacking each other.

A case has been filed against Rahul Gandhi in Tonk

An FIR has been lodged against Rahul Gandhi in Tonk, the home district of Congress leader Sachin Pilot. BJP leaders and workers, under the leadership of BJP District President Ajit Singh Mehta, reached the Kotwali police station and submitted a complaint to the City Kotwali Bhanwarlal Vaishnav, demanding registration of an FIR against Rahul Gandhi. This action was taken in protest against the recent statements of Rahul Gandhi. An FIR was lodged against Rahul Gandhi in Tonk, the assembly constituency of Congress leader Sachin Pilot. Under the leadership of BJP District President Ajit Singh Mehta, BJP leaders submitted a complaint to the City Kotwali Bhanwarlal Vaishnav, demanding action against Rahul Gandhi. This action was taken in protest against the recent statements of Rahul Gandhi.

BJP District General Secretary Deepak Sangat filed a complaint against Rahul Gandhi, in which several serious allegations have been made including insulting the Prime Minister and Dalits. BJP leaders, while talking to the media, condemned Rahul Gandhi’s statements, calling them a threat to the unity and integrity of the country. They criticized Rahul Gandhi’s statements by taking him to task. City Kotwal Bhanwarlal Vaishnav said that a case has been registered on the basis of the complaint filed against Rahul Gandhi. He said that action will be taken in the case as per the legal process. Kotwal clarified that the police will investigate the matter and take further action as per the rules.
