Politics heats up in Kanhaiyalal murder case, Rajendra Rathore hits back at Gehlot

Jaipur : BJP leader Rajendra Rathore hit back at former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot over the Kanhaiyalal murder case, saying that the BJP government is committed to punish the culprits of this murder, you are forgetting that all the culprits were acquitted by the High Court due to poor advocacy during the time of the then Congress government in the case of the death of 71 innocent people in the Jaipur serial bomb blast.

Rajendra Rathore, accusing the then Congress government of adopting a policy of appeasement, said that at that time a lax attitude was adopted against the accused and seriousness was not shown in getting them punished. When the Supreme Court awarded death penalty to Ajmal Kasab in the Mumbai terror attack, why did the then UPA government protect him for 6 years? Shakti Singh and Prahlad played a role in getting the accused of Kanhaiyalal murder case arrested, but the then government ignored their security? The resolution of the BJP government is clear – to get the harshest punishment to the culprits. The culprits will be punished, no matter who they are.

On which former CM Ashok Gehlot targeted the BJP and said that in the Kanhaiyalal murder case, the BJP government did not show any special interest in getting the culprits punished.
