Polling teams will leave tomorrow for Dausa by-election

Dausa : The polling parties will leave from PG College on Tuesday morning for the assembly by-election to be held on November 13 in Dausa. The Election Department has finalized its preparations. Final training was given to polling teams and police teams on Monday. In the presence of Election Commission observers, District Election Officer Devendra Kumar and Superintendent of Police Ranjita Sharma informed the polling parties about the intricacies of voting. He talked about conducting fair and transparent voting. The District Election Officer said that Sector Magistrate, Area Magistrate, Sector Police Incharge and Magistrate and other personnel engaged in by-election duty were informed about the voting related guidelines.

Policemen deployed at the polling booth have been given strict instructions to ensure compliance with the rules within a radius of 100 meters, ban mobile phones at the booth and keep an eye on any activity that may influence the voter. Appealing to the voters to vote in maximum numbers, he said that strict arrangements have been made by the police-administration at all the polling stations. Webcasting will be done in 161 polling stations, in which all the voters will remain in one room. Besides, 60 micro observers have been appointed, who are central government employees. The elections will be conducted in a peaceful, transparent and fair manner.
