Ajmer : The Meteorological Department in Ajmer and the Chairman National Management along with Rajasthan Jaipur Disaster Management Assistant and Civil Defense Department Rajasthan have issued an alert in view of the possibility of heavy rain and flood in the area. Many ponds and lakes in the city are overflowing. For this, rescue teams and the army have visited many places. After the alert, orders have been issued to declare holiday in all government and non-government schools from class 1 to 12 in the district from September 9.
40 army personnel visited the filling area
Additional District Collector City Gajendra Singh Rathore said that most of the lakes, ponds and rivers in Ajmer city are overflowing. In case of any untoward incident after the overflowing, 40 army personnel inspected the area today to find out which route the army personnel will take and which route they will take to carry out rescue operations. These flooded areas include Foysagar, Hathikheda, Raj Colony, Bandi river flow area, Gyan Vihar, B.K. Call Nagar, Ganpati Nagar, Moti Vihar, Cine World Hospital, Sagar Vihar, Vaishali Nagar, Panchsheel and Lohagal.
In Dausa, the body was taken to the crematorium in 2 feet of water
Due to heavy rains, people have to pass through 2 feet deep water to take the dead body to the cremation ground in Mahwa of the district. This year’s rain has broken the records of rainfall in eastern Rajasthan for the last several decades. And now this heavy rain is proving to be a disaster in eastern Rajasthan. The rain that has been going on for the last 50 hours is continuously affecting the life of the people in Dausa district. Due to which the life of the people has become chaotic. Due to heavy rains, the drainage system is also working like a sluggish government system. Whether it is a city or a rural area, there is waterlogging everywhere due to rainwater, and terrible conditions are constantly arising.
