Jaipur : Rajasthan’s education department is in a lot of discussions these days and the reason for this is the backtracking on the order after it was issued. The department has withdrawn 7 decisions in the last 7 months. In such a situation, questions have started being raised on the functioning of the education department and minister Madan Dilawar. Now the state’s teachers’ union has opened a front against the education minister. The union has attacked the education minister through poster war from Jodhpur city.
Posters put up in many places
Many posters have been put up on the main squares and hoardings of the city targeting the Education Minister Dilawar, in which Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma has been asked to change the minister’s department. In these posters, the Education Minister has been directly attacked and he has even been called ‘Paltu Ram’. The union alleges that if Madan Dilawar’s department is not changed soon, then he will overthrow the education department of Rajasthan. In this regard, the state convener of Rajasthan Panchayati Raj and Secondary Teachers Union, Sangharsh Samiti, Shambhu Singh Mertiya says that today every employee and officer of the education department is in a dilemma.
He told that on the information of arrival of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma in Jodhpur, posters and hoardings were put up at many places in the city. We wanted to convey our message to the Chief Minister. We want the Chief Minister to evaluate the work of the Education Minister. How many orders he issued and how many orders were withdrawn, this should be reviewed. Today the situation has become such that the orders of the previous government are still being followed in the department. Promotions of hundreds of teachers of the state are still pending. There are 3700 teachers who do not have any work at present. This is a big joke with the future of the children of the state.
Now the campaign will start in Jaipur
He said that soon a poster campaign will be started in Jaipur. Under this, posters of the department’s failure will be put up at CM House Marg, Shiksha Sankul and other important places. After this the union will wait for about 6 months. In case the department is not changed, the teachers will take to the streets and this movement will be taken to the country’s capital Delhi. Let us tell you that in the posters put up in Jodhpur city, the news published in Rajasthan Patrika ‘Education department has become a “confused” department: Seven orders were reversed in seven months’ was also mentioned.
These seven orders were returned
Transfer Policy: After the BJP government was formed in the state, the transfer policy of teachers was first included in the 100-day action plan. But it was withdrawn in the revised plan.
From English to Hindi medium: After the statement of the Education Minister, the Education Department had issued instructions to convert Mahatma Gandhi schools into Hindi medium. For which a survey was also conducted on 38 points. But later the decision was withdrawn.
Ban on mobile phones: After the statement of Education Minister Madan Dilawar, the Education Department banned the use of mobile phones by teachers in government schools on May 4. But last month, permission was again given with some conditions.
6(3) order: On May 17, the department announced a program to change the setup of Panchayati Raj teachers by doing 6(3). It was withdrawn a few days later.
Age of admission: Before Praveshotsav, citing the new education policy, the education department had issued orders to admit only six-year-old children. But after the decrease in enrollment in government schools and protest by teachers, the department changed its decision and allowed admission of five-year-old children of Anganwadis as well.
Milk scheme stopped and then restarted: Due to the milk supply being affected, the education minister had this month announced to stop Gehlot government’s Bal Gopal scheme and provide coarse grains to schools. But later the milk supply was restarted.
Adjustment of teachers: Recently, orders were issued to adjust the surplus 67 thousand teachers in the government schools of the state and instructions were issued to start the process from September 18. But that order was also withdrawn.
