Pratapgarh : Pratapgarh District Collector Dr. Anjali Rajoria conducted a surprise inspection of the district hospital at 5 pm on Thursday. The Collector came face to face with the patients. He met the patients and asked questions about their treatment by the doctors in the hospital and inquired about the treatment by the staff. He talked to the patients admitted in Bilkis Bai Ward as well as Orthopedics Ward, Trauma Ward, General Ward of the main campus. The Collector called the duty doctor on the spot, looked at the treatment slips of the patients and took information about the treatment. Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. Jeevraj Meena and other doctors were present along with the Collector.
Effective compliance with instructions
The Collector said that the administration conducts periodic inspections to maintain a completely clean and peaceful environment in the hospital premises. In such a situation, an immediate action plan should be made based on the instructions given during the inspection and a decision should be taken in the interest of the patients. He said that the image of the district hospital will improve only with the best health and facilities of the patients. For this, ensure responsibility to the ward in-charge in each ward and regularly inspect the facilities and cleanliness.
Appreciation of cleanliness in infant ward
On this occasion, he also inspected the mother-child wing. During the inspection, he interrogated the parents of the patients admitted in the pediatric ward about their child’s illness. The Collector also expressed satisfaction over the cleanliness and excellent arrangements in the infant ward. And instructions were given to make similar arrangements in all the wards. On the occasion of inspection, the hospital’s Dr. OP Dayma, Pediatrician Dr. Dheeraj Sen, Gynecologist and Obstetrician Dr. Kamlesh Rawal, Anesthesia Dr. Ramesh Shukla and other staff were present.
Inspected the ambulance parked in the premises
During the inspection, Collector Dr. Anjali Rajoria also inspected the facilities in the ambulance parked in the district hospital premises. He took information about the oxygen cylinder in the ambulance and the necessary medicines as per the protocol. The Collector directed the PMO to ensure the entry of ambulances following the rules and protocols in the hospital.
