Pratapgarh : Pratapgarh Vidyut Nigam has recently launched a campaign to recover the dues of the current financial year. Due to which the defaulters are losing their sweat. The situation is such that the dues recovery team has also initiated action to disconnect the connection. In such a situation, the outstanding amount is being deposited by the defaulters. However, a five-day campaign has been started by the Electricity Corporation in the district from Tuesday. Under this, lists of all subdivision wise dues have been prepared. Under this, teams have been formed. In which targets of 100 percent revenue collection have been given from feeder incharge to executive engineer. If the outstanding is more than Rs 10,000, action is being taken to disconnect the connection. Along with this, those who are depositing the outstanding amount. Their connections are being reconnected. There are 10 and a half thousand consumers in the list of those who owe more than Rs 10,000 from the corporation. This year’s outstanding amount in the district is around Rs 5 crore 83 lakh 67 thousand. Teams of all nine sub-division offices have been formed for recovery from these. Which is taking action of recovery and disconnection in the district.
Two crore rupees have to be recovered in five days
According to the Electricity Corporation, about two crore rupees have to be recovered by the end of this month. According to the corporation, about Rs. 2 crores still need to be brought to achieve 100% revenue assessment for this month. In such a situation, this amount has to be recovered within five days. Only after this will 100% recovery of this year’s dues be possible. For this, all the employees and officers are busy in their work.
