Pratapgarh girl throws acid on narcotics officer, injured

Pratapgarh News Desk: On the pretext of asking for lift, a girl threw acid on a Narcotics Department officer. The officer burnt by acid was immediately admitted to a private hospital. Police arrived on information and detained the girl. At the same time, the girl’s companion has been injured due to the collision with the car. The incident took place in Bamotar, Pratapgarh at 3 pm on Thursday. Pratapgarh SP Vineet Bansal said – The car of Sub Inspector Harshvardhan Singh (27) of Narcotics Department was stolen by Pratapgarh resident Khushi Rao (22) and his friend Priyanshu Tehelkar (23) near Bamotar. Stopped it. After talking for some time, both of them threw acid on the officer. When the officer backed the car, Priyanshu, who was standing behind, also got injured due to the collision with the car. During this time the rear glass of the car also broke.

Harshvardhan did not like this. He had even fought with the girl several times regarding this. Harassing the girl in this manner was troubling her lover Priyanshu also. Sources said- Khushi Rao and Priyanshu planned to murder Harshvardhan and called him near Bamotar village. When Harshvardhan reached Bamotar with the car, Khushi Rao sat in the car. Priyanshu, who was standing far away with a bike, started following them. There was an altercation between Harshvardhan and Khushi Rao in the car. Khushi threw acid on Harshvardhan from the bottle she brought with her. Harshvardhan got scared by this and he started shouting. He stopped the car immediately. During this, Priyanshu, who was coming behind, collided with the car along with the bike and got injured.
