Pratapgarh : A laborer going on bike to collect ration goods on National Highway 56 in Pratapgarh was hit by a trailer coming from the front. The laborer injured in the accident was admitted to the district hospital for treatment. Where he died. Police have confiscated the trailer. The driver has fled from the spot.
Pipalkhunt police station officer Kamalchand said that Ramesh Bheel, a resident of Ambapara, used to work as a labourer. He was coming to Pipalkhunt from home on Sunday evening to collect ration items for his family. Then, near culvert number 8 on National Highway 56, a speeding trailer coming from Banswara hit him hard. Ramesh Bhil was seriously injured in the accident. Police reached the spot after getting information and took him to Pratapgarh district hospital through 112. Where he died late night during treatment. The police have seized the trailer that was involved in the collision. The search for the driver continues. A case has been registered on behalf of the deceased’s family Kachrulal. At present, the police has conducted the postmortem and handed over the body to the relatives.
