Pratapgarh : Police has arrested the absconding accused in the case of rape of a minor 6 months ago in Pratapgarh. This accused arrested under the POCSO Act will now be presented in the court.
Ghanthali police station officer Sohanlal said that a case was registered in the police station six months ago on June 3 that on May 27, the minor daughter of the applicant had left her house saying she was going to another house and did not return home till evening. A search was conducted nearby but he was not found anywhere. Later people told that Bhuralal Bhil, a resident of Danpur in Banswara, had taken him with himself. A case was registered against this under the POCSO Act. During the investigation, the minor was arrested, but Bhuralal had absconded. Raids were conducted several times in search of him. But it did not come. Today he was arrested on the basis of information received through an informer.
