Due to which the situation is that so far this year only 43 percent have got the verification done in the district. In such a situation, the department has issued instructions to get the verification done in this regard from the concerned block officers. It is worth noting that in the Social Security Pension Scheme, there is a rule to get the verification done once a year. In the annual verification, the district had minimum pendency last year and the ranking of the district was in the top 5. This year also the campaign of annual verification has been started by the district administration. There are 1 lakh 31 thousand 341 beneficiaries of social security pension in the district. Out of these, 53 thousand 567 beneficiaries have got the verification done. The overall progress of the district is 43.83 percent. And 73 thousand 774 pensioners have not got the verification done.

In which 5780 pensioners in Arnod, 11923 in Chhotisaddi, 5740 in Dalot, 8321 in Dhamottar, 18252 in Dhariyavad, 6004 in Pipalkhunt, 9093 in Pratapgarh, 4204 in Suhagpura and 4457 pensioners in all three urban areas have not got the verification done.

In this, the people who receive ration through biometric or appear in NREGA or receive payment through Banking Correspondence (BC) through biometric method. Their verification is done automatically. At the same time, verification can also be done by going to e-Mitra and by CDing the PPO by placing your thumb on the biometric machine. Which proves that he is alive. Along with this, in this method, Aadhaar based verification can be done by downloading the Social Security Pension application from Google Play Store and through the selfie camera of the mobile phone. Assistant Director Dr. T.R. Ameta said that the third method is very easy, transparent and free. In this, a mobile user can verify many people. In this application, the person’s pension payment status, new application and data of his area can also be seen. In such a situation, verification done in this manner should be given priority.
